The finished version. I'd have updated the other one, but it's not working, so screw it. I'll just upload it separately. This is the completed version. I didn't get a chance to rescan it before submitting to the local Skills Competition (which I lost, if you'd like to know), but here it is now. Everyone who commented on the first one, I very much appreciate it. You don't have to comment again, since there aren't many changes. (unless you really really want to...)
Update: While I appreciate any comments received on this extremely old drawing, do notice the date and please consider critiquing a more current piece.
HOLY JEBUS It took me several moments to look at this to reallize this wasn't a photograph. Good goddess and gods. That's beautifully done. Graphite? Amazing.
This is well done, but a lot of points get taken off simply because it does not look enough like the subject. That is the most important thing when doing a portrait, etc.
But other than that, the actual drawing part of it is great.
YOU LOST?! What?! This is amazing! It looks like a photo, not just a sketch from a photo. I'm in aww, I love the hair the best, it's so real o.O But just the detail in it blows my mind. It's definitly a +fav for me!
Excellent drawing of Kurt. Very nice composition and value, it looks like a photo a first glance and even when you look at it for a while. I don't know what else to say except you have talent, great work!
We love horses, we love drawing, we love gifts, AND we love Christmas. We're gonna combine all that to make Christmas 2009 on dA a seriously awesome one!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

"And did you get what
you wanted from this life, even so?
I did.
And what did you want?
To call myself beloved, to feel myself
beloved on the earth."

But other than that, the actual drawing part of it is great.
